2.It is produced in Kovilpatti and adjacent towns of Tamil Nadu.
3.The uniqueness about the sweet are the ingredients used for its manufacture which are procured from the geographical area of Kovilpatti.
4.The ingredients include groundnuts grown in the native black soil of Kovilpatti, organic jaggery and water sourced from the Thamirabarani river.
5.It is produced using ‘veragu aduppu’ (firewood stove).
