Typhoon Goni
Typhoon Goni hit the island Province of Catanduanes (Philippines) at dawn with sustained winds of 225 kmph and gusts of 280 kmph. It was barrelling west toward densely populated regions, including Manila, and rain-soaked provinces still recovering from a typhoon that hit a week ago and left at least 22 people dead.Some other Typhoon which hits phillipines recently:-
The Philippines was hit by typhoon Phanfone ( local name :- Ursula) on 25th December 2019.
Typhoon Kammuri (local name Tesoy) was hit in 4th december 2109
Typhoon Haiyan(Yolanda), which had hit the country in 2013.

Typhoon is a region-specific name of the Tropical cyclone (swirling system of clouds and thunderstorms that originates over tropical or subtropical oceans).

Cyclone is the formation of a very low-pressure system with very high-speed winds revolving around it. Factors like wind speed, wind direction, temperature and humidity contribute to the development of cyclones
