Gorakhpur Terracotta:- 
The application for Gorakhpur terracotta was filled by Laxmi terracotta Murtikala Kendra in U.P.
Terracotta works of Gorakhpur is centuries old traditional art from where the potters make various animal figures like horse, elephant, camel,goat, an ox with hand applied ornamentatious.

GI tag in India is governed by Geographical of Goods (Registration & Protection act),1999, it is issued by Geographical indication Registry , Chennai.

The Department for promotion of industry and internal trade (DPIIT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, provides the GI tag in India.
